The 92’ and 120’ were both débuted at the 2004 Fort Lauderdale boat show. Both yachts were very well received, with high praise for the high standards achieved. 2001 -2002 M/Y Clair-T, 201’ (61.26m) designed by S&S Owner: Restricted Refit, tidy-up and crew appointment, was also instrumental in working with the CISR to renew some of her expired certificates. Delivery to the Nassau, Jet and Yacht show for presentation as a brokerage yacht, she was sold shortly after. |

August 2000 - February 2001M/Y “STARSHIP” – 75’ (22.8m) Northern MarineOwner & Project Director – Michael PolizaCaptain/Engineer: The "Starship" was on a 1000 day around the world journalism and photo journalism project, with scientists and research people from the World Wildlife Fund, the Discovery Channel and other groups joining her at various stages of the trip to look into the cultures, environment and ecosystems both above and below the ocean. She covered about 70,000 Nautical Miles by the time the project ended in Hamburg, Germany in June 2001. Between Bali and Cape Town covered over 10,500 Nautical Miles and had opportunity to visit new areas in the Java Sea, South China Sea, Indian Ocean and South Atlantic Ocean |

October 1995 - May 1997S/Y "NEVER SAY NEVER" 100' (30.5m) Ron Holland / Camper & Nicholson SloopOwner - Bonita Corp. Ltd., Grand Cayrnan, Cayman IslandsCaptain/Engineer/Project Manager: Charles visited the Bahamas, Cuba and the Leeward Islands for a three month period. Participated in Antigua Race Week before returning to Fort Lauderdale. Managed her refit at Derecktor Gunnell Shipyard. This refit included: All cosmetic paint work, up-grading systems such as electrical, shore power, nav systems, black/gray water systems, bilge oil/water separators, engine lube oil cleaners and a complete mechanical overhaul. A comprehensive computer system was also installed which included monitoring, security, machinery, performance, computer radar enhancement, electronic charting, ARPA and cockpit touch screens. On completion participated in the Pineapple Cup race to Jamaica and cruised the Caribbean extensively. |

January 1993 - August 1994S/Y - S&S Schooner 126' (38.4m) L.O.D., 136' (41.4m) L.O.AOwner - Stettin Co. Ltd., Guernsey, Channel Islands, U.K.Captain/Engineer: Charles took over this vessel in St. Mary's, Georgia, brought her to Florida and prepared for the owner's arrival. After owner's departure, prepared for the Atlantic crossing to the Mediterranean and then on to Norway. Returned to Gibraltar prior to the Atlantic crossing to Antigua . After a short break rejoined "Queen Nefertiti" at the end of her time in the shipyard. Atlantic crossing from the Virgin Islands to Gibraltar and on to Nice, France. Cruised Southern France, Western Italy, Sardinia and Corsica with her owner and guests. Sailed over 20,000 nm aboard this vessel. |
May - December 1993Various deliveries and short-term contractsCharles delivered a 42' sloop from Palm Beach, Florida to Puerto Rico, finalized a refit and stern extension on a 96' Broward and removed an 86' Broward from the Bahamas and found a safe haven prior to the arrival of Hurricane Andrew (she suffered no damage). |

October 1988 - April 1991S/Y "TRAVELINE" - 76' (23.2m) Custom MotorsailerOwner - Hydrodynamics Ltd., Jersey, Channel Islands, U.K.Captain/Engineer: Charles completed the Atlantic crossing from La Rochelle, France to Antigua, West Indies. Spent two months in the Caribbean before heading to Derecktor Gunnell Shipyard in Florida.Charles became the Project Manager involved with electrical, mechanical, machinery, exterior finish and systems. He was responsible for implementation and some design, including interior and exterior Sat Com installation, trimboard and computer analysis system. A total of 14 months was spent in Derector Gunnell Shipyard. Atlantic crossing to Europe for owner's use. From November 1990 to April 1991 involved in design studies for modifying accommodations and repowering. |

Upon completion, became Mate and cruised from England to Channel Islands and Europe. Atlantic crossing to Virgin Islands and became Captain at that time. Chartered for the season. |

Became instrumental in developing their one-off boat building division and industrial molding section. Progressed to Charge Hand in fitting out section and Manager of one-off and industrial section. In charge of ordering, costing, customer liaison, production and design specifications.1976 - 1979Derek Kelsall, K-Yacht DesignsBayside Marina, Sandwich, Kent, EnglandHaving attended collage for mechanical engineering, Charles joined the office of Derek Kelsall and trained in yacht design. He was involved in projects such as "Great Britain III", "Great Britain IV", "Three Legs of Man", and "F.T.". Became involved in the building shed where he coordinated between the design office and work shop, finalizing design details and specifications, lofting and building racing and cruising multi-hulls and mono-hulls.Charles started sailing dinghies in England in 1970. In 1974, he became involved in off-shore racing. Took part in "Cowes Week" several times, as well as R.O.R.C. Channel Races and E.A.O.R.C. Channel and North Sea Races with positions as Foredeck Boss, Watch Captain, Navigator and Delivery Skipper. He was heavily involved with traditional craft, sailing Thames Barges and Oyster Smacks as well as working on their restoration and was involved in the rigging of a Brig and Brigantine. He has done many deliveries of mono and multi-hulls, both crewed and single-handed and has sailed in excess of 188,000 nm on the North Sea, English Channel, Bay of Biscay, Norwegian Sea, Mediterranean Sea, North and South Atlantic Oceans, Caribbean Sea, the U.S. Eastern Seaboard, Java Sea, South China Sea, Indian Ocean and Mozambique Channel. He has crossed the Indian Ocean and has fourteen crossings of the Atlantic Ocean , thirteen as Master. |
