Throughout the construction I found Charles Curren to be an enormous asset to both the company and me for these very challenging projects. He is an extremely experienced and knowledgeable yachtsman who brings solid engineering experience with the ability to be able to apply this in the most practical, effective way. Charles always manages to find the most practical solutions to those altercations which inevitably occur between the designers and the builders. He is a natural team leader with ability to bring out the best in his colleagues as well as craftsmen during construction. It has been a real pleasure to work with Charles and see him deliver the very best in boat building. Capt Benjamin de Haas, Senior Vice President, Shipping & General , S.A. Switzerland |
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
Charles is very knowledgeable in all aspects of construction and design, extremely hard-working and he has a keen eye for detail. He is capable of making quick decisions in the shipyard with regard to design and construction problems and was well respected and liked by the managers and 100+ workers at the RMK Shipyard, as is indicated by the article in the January, 2004 issue of Yachts International magazine. He was able to competently manage all three projects and many different personalities with a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy. We found Capt. and Mrs. Curren to be dedicated, hard-working, competent and trustworthy and enthusiastically recommend them for any future endeavor. Jim S. Winch. President, Bradford Yacht Sales, USA |

Charles and Lisa both did an excellent job of putting a crew together and preparing the boat for the show. During this event they displayed a professional attitude and outlook, as did their crew, presenting the vessel to very good effect to both clients and brokers. John DeCaro. "Claire T", 201' S/V. Fraser Yachts, USA |

As Master, Mr. Curren was responsible for the entire operation of the vessel including recruitment of crew, navigation and sailing, and complete maintenance. Mr. and Mrs. Curren performed their duties diligently and proved to be thoroughly trustworthy people. Donald S.N. Galletly. President, Jaminco Management Corp., USA |

Charles Curren was employed during the construction of the S&S 109' ketch "Venturosa". His hiring was as result of a most careful selection process, and he showed himself to be eminently qualified for the job. I would unreservedly recommend him for any similar position. Nigel S. Ingram, Marine Construction Management (MCM) USA |
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
The Currens spent a great deal of time answering all of the questions directed to them concerning seamanship, background, and specific policies. All of the background information given to us was carefully researched for us by a former United States consular official. This effort encompassed a great deal of correspondence in the United States , England , and Canada . All of our research indicated that Mr. and Mrs. Curren had an unblemished record in every concern. They were found to be hard-working and dedicated in all assignments. Mr. Curren was invaluable in his understanding and assistance with the complex systems on the "Venturosa". Ramon Tublitz, President, Kenyon Yachtbuilding Corp., USA |
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
During our involvement with them we have found Captain and Mrs. Curren to be loyal, honest and worthy of trust. Their integrity has been above reproach and we have no hesitation in recommending them for any position requiring a high level of professionalism in their chosen field. James V. Brewer, Yard Manager, Derecktor Gunnel Shipyard , USA |
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
Mr. Curren's function was the boat's Master, responsible for maintenance, refitting and design change works executed at Derecktor Gunnell's Shipyard. I would like to point out that he is highly qualified as a most reliable and responsible individual. At the same time, Mr. Curren is a very qualified engineer who not only maintained the boat but also repaired defaults on the high-tech instruments and systems of "Traveline". Hanspeter Buhler, Chairman, Hydrodynamics Ltd, Switzerland |

I would highly recommend Lisa for any form of responsibilities on yachts. She has lived on or been around boats most of her life and is very familiar with the marine environment. I consider her a very resourceful, adaptable, sincere person; the kind you can count on to get the job done! I first met Lisa while co-chairing the Marine Industry Association of South Florida's Building Committee. We wanted a "yacht-quality" finish on all of the new French doors and mouldings of our new facility and after checking around, Lisa came very highly recommended. She did everything as promised and actually exceeded our expectations with her level of quality. Recently, I had a conversation with a project manager of a mega-yacht builder and her name came up. He said, "Oh, I know who you mean, the Gucci of Varnish!" John C. Penn, Past President - MIASF, Retired Vice-President of Lewis Marine Supply, Inc. |

Lisa has worked with us for over 10 years. Her skills with wood finishing, color matching and wood surface repair are exemplary. Indeed, she is the only "hands-on" boat craftsperson that I have sent to our factory in San Jose, Costa Rica twice to train our staff. Lisa is loyal, hardworking and trustworthy. She has been so conscientious and dedicated to getting the job done, she has endeared herself to all of us here at Cabo Rico. Fraser Smith, Chairman, Cabo Rico Yachts builder. |
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
We have found the quality of Lisa's varnish work to be simply "outstanding" in all respects. We were very impressed with her attention to detail on all the work she did staining and varnishing all of the new, 10 pane window doors and trim in our new building, including the over-size, solid teak front entrance door and frame. MIASF has a number of marine industry contacts for varnish work but we will continue to use Lisa because of the high quality of her work. |

Lisa has been working for us over several years. We came to trust her judgment and rely on her suggestions for the care and restoration of our yacht. We were never disappointed. She is a delightful person and a valued friend who I can unequivocally recommend. Her eye for perfection as well as her pragmatic approach to vessel maintence and refinish work has been a plus for us. |

We entrusted our 58' Hatteras motor yacht to Lisa for a complete refit and were extremely pleased not only with the result but also with the manner in which the project was managed. We found her to be very reliable and conscientious. All work progressed in accordance with the agreed calendar and budget, and was meticulously executed. Although we were not on site, we received regular and comprehensive updates on the project. We were particularly impressed with Lisa's painting skills. Her careful attention to preparation and patient execution produced remarkable results of the absolute highest quality. In addition to being a gifted craftsperson, we found her to be very congenial and easy to deal with and would recommend her services without any reservations whatsoever. Robert and Mary Ann Darbelnet |

Lisa was highly recommended by John Penn to my firm, after her beautiful varnish job at Marine Industries of South Florida's facility building. They raved about her work, so I decided to hire her for a number of my yacht projects. My clients expect the highest level of workmanship and Lisa has never failed to deliver. Working with and around numerous tradesmen, she always stood out by her level of communication on what needed to be accomplished or scheduled in order for her work to be completed. I would personally recommend Lisa as a very competent person who genuinely cares about the quality of her work. Holly Penn-Moran, Penn-Moran Yacht Interiors, Inc. |

It is with great pleasure for me to recommend Lisa Lunden for interior and exterior yacht finish work. She has maintained the extensive bright work on our Cabo Rico since commissioning. We value the quality of her work enough to fly her to New York from Florida every year. If you require excellent varnish work, Lisa is your girl! |
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
Lisa says little but smiles and proceeds to produce astonishing results. If one requires finish work - bright work - if you will - hire her. You will be delighted with your good fortune. Her true professionalism is second only to Lisa the person. Again, the good fortune will be yours! James J. Eastland, President, Eastland Yachts, Inc |

The quality of her work is exceptional, her neat and professional way she approaches each and every job impressive. I highly recommend her and feel that Lisa would be an asset to any organization. Pat Dorning, Peter Kehoe & Associates, Yacht and Ship Brokers |
